Descendants of Julius Rasch, Sr.

Julius Rasch, Sr., and his wife, (Unknown) Ziebell, were born in Prussia in about 1820.

Their son, Bernhard, emigrated in America in the early-1870’s and married Albertine Louise “Christine” Teske. They had two children before she died in 1879.

He then married Amelia Barron and they had four more children. Their children married into family names such as Luebchow, Neas, Prell, Gabower and Zastoupil.

All of the Rasch families in Monroe County are believed to have descended from Julius.
