They lived in Detroit for several years, later moving to Milwaukee and then West Allis. Lucille loved to bake and cook for family and friends, she enjoyed reading and bookkeeping and also to socialize and visit with family and friends. She loved her grandchildren. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Gail Reisenauer of Greenfield; son, Ronald Reisenauer of New Lisbon; grandchildren, Bryce Reisenauer of Waukesha and Tana (Matt) Johnson of Durham, North Carolina; great-grandson, Everett Johnson of Durham, North Carolina; and sister-in-law, Rhea Koopman of Eagle. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon, on Dec. 17, 2014; brothers, Milo and Merle (Florence) Koopman; and sister, Mildred (Ignatius) Mack. Funeral services will be held at noon, Monday, Jan. 19, at Hare Funeral Home, 217 W. Pearl St., New Lisbon, with the Rev. Wendy Ruetten presiding. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday. Burial will be in Hustler Cemetery." Lucille Esther KOOPMAN (~) and Gordon Everett REISENAUER (!) were married on 16 August 1941 in Hustler, Juneau County, WI.70,410,413 at St. Matthias Catholic Church. "Aunt Babe" loved to entertain family and friends. Gary Griggs remembers one occasion when she invited family members to her home for dinner, and his dad, Vern, opened their freezer chest in the basement. One of the packages of meat was marked "Fit for Company." Vern teased her about marking the cheaper meats as "Fit for Company," while saving the best cuts for her immediate family. . Between 1942 and 1981 he was in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Township, Milwaukee County, WI.63 at Harnischfeger Corporation. Gordon appeared in the census in 1950 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Township, Milwaukee County, WI.339 His household was at 732 South 31st Street and his occupation was "Set up blue prints, heavy machinery mfg." He died on 17 December 2014 at the age of 98 in West Allis, Milwaukee County, WI.70 Obituary Notes: "Gordon E. Reisenauer, age 98, of West Allis, WI., died on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Vitas Ruth Hospice Center. Gordon was the son of John and Maude (Frohmader) Reisenauer, and was born on May 22, 1916, in Clifton, Wisconsin. Gordon is a 1934 graduate of the New Lisbon High School. Gordon was united in marriage with Lucille E. Koopman on August 16, 1941 in Hustler, WI. Gordon worked in Detroit for several years and later they moved to the Milwaukee area, where Gordon was employed as a welder for Harnischfeger Corporation for 34 years. Gordon liked to go fishing, hunting, ice fishing, go for long walks, do some bowling, and gardening, and golfing. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Lucille, his daughter Gail Reisenauer of Greenfield, WI; a son, Ronald, of New Lisbon; two grandchildren, Bryce Reisenauer of Waukesha, WI, and Tana (Matt) Johnson of Durham, NC; and a great grandchild, Everett Johnson of Durham,NC,; a sister-in-law, Jean Reisenauer. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Roland, brother Ralph and his wife Esther, and a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Bernard Ohman, and sister-in-law Ruth Emerson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 20, 2014 at 12:00 PM at the Hare Funeral Home, 217 W. Pearl St., New Lisbon, WI. Relatives and friends may call at the Hare Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:30 AM until the time of service at noon. Fr. George Nelson Graham will preside. Burial will be in the Hustler Cemetery." .
