William Wallace ROCHESTER Sr. was born on 29 December 1853 in Allen County, OH.^3,4 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Onalaska, La Crosse County, WI.² He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Farmhand." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ He was living with his daughter Mabel and her family. William died on 5 September 1930 at the age of 76 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^1,3 (His date of death may have been 12 September 1930.) He was buried in Warrens Mills, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ in the Warrens Mills Cemetery. (His middle name may have been "Henry.")

William Wallace ROCHESTER Sr. and Robina Annie "Robbie" OGLE were married on 9 May 1880 in La Crosse County, WI.^1,3 Robina Annie "Robbie" OGLE, daughter of Robert Joseph OGLE and Eveline LEMLY, was born on 19 September 1862 in Wood County, WV.^3,5 She died on 2 January 1918 at the age of 55.^3,5 She was buried in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ in the Warren Mills Cemetery.
