Descendants of John Rochester

John Rochester was born in Switzerland in 1786. One of his grandsons, William Wallace Rochester, Sr., was born in Ohio in 1853.

William and his wife, Robina Annie Ogle, had ten children and all of the Rochesters in the Tomah area are their descendants.

One of their daughters, Mabel, married William C. Mesner, and they raised their family in Lincoln Township. Their six children married into families such as Williams, Ryckman, Harris, Calloway and Anderson.
