Descendants of Ernst Heinrich Rogge, Sr.

Ernst Heinrigh Rogge, Sr. and his wife Catharina were the parents of Ernst Heinrich “Henry” Rogge, Jr.

Henry and his wife, Johanna “Hannah” Roesler, were born in the mid-1800’s in Prussia. After they emigrated to America, they met and married in 1866 in Waukesha County. They then moved to Oakdale Township and raised their family of nine children.

The children married into families such as Heintz, Pingel, Grassman, Fabian, Koeninger, Marten, Giesler, Humboldt and Rieke. Henry and Hannah were the direct ancestors of all of the known Rogge families in Monroe County.
