641. Nehemiah ROOT (=) was born in July 1782 in Coventry, Tolland County, CT.^11,62 He served in the military about 1812.⁷⁹ He "was an officer on a lake vessel during the War of 1812." He died between 1862 and 1870 at the age of 80 in Norwich, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada.⁶²

Nehemiah ROOT (=) and Cynthia WOODARD were married about 1805.^62,110 Cynthia WOODARD, daughter of Caleb WOODARD and Anna SMITH, was born on 15 May 1784 in Dutchess County, NY.⁶² She died on 5 March 1855 at the age of 70 in Mount Pleasant (??), Green County, WI.⁶²
