Heinrich Max "Henry" ROSCOVIUS was born on 30 August 1881 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.17,18,44 He was confirmed on 7 April 1895 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.44 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1910 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.8 Henry appeared in the census in 1920 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.17 He died on 31 December 1960 at the age of 79.45 He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.18 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Heinrich Max "Henry" ROSCOVIUS and Alheide Emilie "Heide" UTKE were married on 7 February 1909 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.24,46 Their witnesses were Adolph Roscovius and Louis Utke. Alheide Emilie "Heide" UTKE, daughter of Julius Heinrich UTKE and Emma Sophia MATTHEWS, was born on 14 October 1884 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.4,24,47,48 She was baptized on 9 November 1884 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.4 at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was confirmed on 3 April 1898 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.48 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Heide appeared in the census in 1900 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.7 She appeared in the census in 1910 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.8 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.17 Heide died on 23 June 1963 at the age of 78 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.24 She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.18 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

She appeared in the census in 1910 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.8 Norma was buried on 27 August 1910 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.2,49 in the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Irma A. ROSCOVIUS was born on 12 January 1912 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.17,18,24 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.17 She died on 20 February 2005 at the age of 93 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.24

Obituary Notes: "Irma A. Roscovius, age 93 of Tomah died, Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center in Sparta. She was born Jan. 12, 1912, to Henry and Alheida (Utke) Roscovius in the town of Adrian, Monroe County. She retired from the Tee Pee Supper Club in Tomah where she worked as a waitress for 14 years. She also worked for the Sherman Hotel as a waitress and for a number of other restaurants in the community. Irma was a longtime and faithful member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomah.

She is survived by a brother-in-law, Henry Schuman, of Tomah. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Cora Schuman, Helen Rosenow, and an infant sister Norma; an infant brother Norbert also preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave., Tomah. Pastor Phillip M. Enderle officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery at Tomah.

Relatives and friends called at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The family requests memorials be given to the Broadcast Fund at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in her memory."
