He was then one of the first twenty-five members of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tomah. About 1880 Rudolph was a carpenter, wagon maker and railroad worker in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.1,11 He appeared in the census in 1910 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.8 He died on 12 May 1915 at the age of 74 in Reels Valley, Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.2,3,5 Rudolph was buried on 14 May 1915 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.2,5 in the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
