Herman Henry ROSE was born on 21 July 1869 in Honey Creek, Sauk County, WI.^2,3 After 1900 he was an owner of the Cash Store in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ Herman died on 26 March 1935 at the age of 65 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,3 He was buried in 1935 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,3,6 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Herman Henry ROSE and Emma M. PUFAHL were married on 15 November 1893 in Sauk County, WI.^1,4 Emma M. PUFAHL, daughter of Franz Ferdinand Wilhelm PUFAHL and Henrietta SCHULZ, was born in September 1872 in Reedsburg Township, Sauk County, WI.^1,2 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ She died in 1942 at the age of 70.² Emma was buried in 1942 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,6 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ Paul died on 22 October 1970 at the age of 74.² He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,6 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
