Descendants of Heinrich Christoph Rose

Heinrich Christoph Rose and his wife, Catharina Dorothea Wunnecke, were born in the Lower Saxony Province of Prussia in the early-1800's. One of their sons, Jueryen Johann Rose and his wife, Catharina Sophia Bless, emigrated to America and settled in Sauk County.

One of their sons, Herman Henry Rose, and his wife Emma moved to Monroe County and were the immediate ancestors of several of the Rose families in the Tomah area.
