Bernita SCHAPPE and William E. "Bill" TRALMER Jr. were married about 1987.41 William E. "Bill" TRALMER Jr., son of William TRALMER and Lyla SNIDER, was born on 27 December 1932 in Monroe County, WI.41 He died on 5 February 2017 at the age of 84 in Florida.41 Obituary Notes: "William E. Tralmer, 84, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, at his winter residence in Florida. He was born Dec. 27, 1932, on the family farm to Bill and Lyla Tralmer. He attended the one room Rock Edge School and was a 1950 graduate of Tomah High School. He joined the Navy in 1952, serving the staff of the Commander Destroyer Atlantic Fleet. Upon his 1956 discharge, he enrolled in Spenserian College in Milwaukee. He made Milwaukee his home when he became employed by Coca Cola Bottling Company. In 1962, Bill and his wife, Diana (deceased) became business partners in many lucrative ventures, including a cocktail lounge, liquor store, car wash and lastly, the Whispering Wings Supper Club. He was a life long legionnaire (Horicon Post 157) and a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus of St. Malachys. Bill is survived by his "bride" of 30 years, Bernita Tralmer; and his children, Lynn (James Walsh), Karen Tralmer and Todd Tralmer. Bernita's children, Karen (Peter Vanden Brook), Kym (Joe White) and Krissanne (Paul Ellingson); grandchildren, Dana (Joe Bailey), Tyler Walsh (fiancé, Kelsey), Alex and Jack Pamperin, Jessica Ellingson (fiancé, Blake), Danielle (Brett Jacobson), Paulette Ellingson and Jonathon Vanden Brook (fiancé, Kelsey); great-grandchildren, Hunter and Mara Jane Bailey and Ava Rose Vanden Brook. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diane; sisters, Auriel (Tony Doro), Jeanette (Gerry Sowle) and Shirley (Joe Rinker); brother, Thomas; and many other relatives. Bill was a kind, gentle, loving man and we are all better having known him. He lived his life with dignity and will be greatly missed. "Love you Sugar Plum." His celebration of life will be held May 5, at St. Bernards Catholic Church, Middleton, Wis., officiated by Father Wilk. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m. and luncheon in the church dining hall. |
