First Generation

1. Christian SCHEER was born in 1783 in Preussen (Prussia).¹ He immigrated on 16 September 1843 to Preussen (Prussia).¹ on the ship Dorothea into New York harbor. He died on 27 February 1844 at the age of 61.¹

Christian SCHEER and Catharina BROETZMANN were married about 1827 in Preussen (Prussia).¹ Catharina BROETZMANN was born on 7 March 1803 in Gross Soglin, Kreis Greifenberg, Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹ She immigrated on 16 September 1843 to Preussen (Prussia).¹ on the ship Dorothea. She died on 10 November 1892 at the age of 89.¹

Christian SCHEER and Catharina BROETZMANN had the following children:

6	v.	John August SCHEER was born on 14 February 1842 in Preussen (Prussia).¹ He immigrated on 16 September 1843 to Preussen (Prussia).¹ on the ship Dorothea. He died on 9 June 1851 at the age of 9 in Lebanon Township, Dodge County, WI.¹ John was buried in Lebanon Township, Dodge County, WI.¹ in the Immanuel Cemetery.
