In his spare time, John enjoyed fishing, coon and fox hunting, attending the local tractor pulls and spending time with his family. John looked at his nieces and nephews as his “kids” and enjoyed family gatherings. He was always willing to help out a neighbor and found many dear friends amongst the Amish community. He was a faithful and devoted member St. Michael Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. John was a loving brother, uncle and dear friend.
