101. William Richard "Bill" MILLER was born on 9 September 1936 in Monroe County, WI.17,18,98 He graduated in 1954 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.98,99 from Tomah High School. He died on 20 May 2012 at the age of 75 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.98
Obituary Notes: "William "Bill" Richard Miller, 75, of Warrens, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, at the Tomah VA Medical Center. He was born Sept. 9, 1936, to Richard C. and Mae (Blaskey) Miller. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith.

Bill graduated from Tomah High School in 1954. He attended the UW-Madison short course and some classes at UW-River Falls.
Bill joined the Army National Guard Oct. 15, 1961. He was called to active duty at Fort Lewis, Wash., during the Berlin Crisis in 1961. He was honorably discharged Jan. 22, 1965.
Bill and Diane (Belke) were united in marriage Jan. 22, 1966, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomah. After leaving farming, Bill had various jobs at Fort McCoy, as well as driving bus, working at wood plants and being a greeter at Walmart.
Bill loved children. He was in 4-H as a youth and was a project leader in the Star Gazers 4-H club for 18 years. He was the club's softball coach and worked many hours in the 4-H food stand during the fair and tractor pull. Bill also volunteered as the vegetable contest judge for the Warrens Cranberry Festival for 29 years.
He was proud of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching them in sports, music, plays, 4-H and fair activities.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; his children, Paul and Leslee Miller, Dawn and Charlie Rudolph, Sue and Tim McGarry and Dan and Aleisha Miller; grandchildren Mark and Brian Miller, Benjamin, Brandon and Sarah Rudolph, Kayla, Katie and Kelsey McGarry, Samantha and Nicole Miller; sisters Bertha Leeser of Milwaukee, Berniece (Merle) Helming of Tomah and Mabel (Jim) Bernhardt of Clifton; and a brother-in-law, Calvin Pasch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mae Miller; in-laws Paul and Marvel Belke; infant son, Dale Richard; granddaughter, Kendra Dawn McGarry; infant brother-in-law, Daryl Paul; sister Bernieta Pasch; brother-in-law Charles Leeser; and a niece, Janice Lepkowski."

William Richard "Bill" MILLER and Diane June BELKE were married on 22 January 1966 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.18,98,100,101 Diane June BELKE, daughter of Paul BELKE and Marvel PHELPS, was born on 27 November 1942.18,101 She died on 22 April 2014 at the age of 71 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.101

Obituary Notes: "Diane J. (Belke) Miller, 71, of Warrens passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at her home. She was born Nov. 27, 1942, to Paul and Marvel (Phelps) Belke. She was raised in Cataract, and was a 1960 graduate of Sparta High School.

Diane and William “Bill” Miller were united in marriage Jan. 22, 1966, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tomah. Together they lived on the family farm until 1982, when they moved to their home near the farm. Diane worked at Northern Engraving in Sparta, for a few years before starting her family. While raising her children she helped Bill on the farm. Diane sold real estate for a few years before going back to Northern Engraving where she retired from in 2013. In her later years she also worked at Walmart.

In her spare time she enjoyed taking pictures, baking and gardening on the farm. She was a generous person who loved baking for her family and friends. Anyone who stopped by her house was considered family. Diane helped the Star Gazers 4-H Club with many bake sales and in the 4-H food stand. She also volunteered at Cranfest. The most important thing in Diane’s life was her family. She was proud of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them in sports, music, plays, 4-H and fair activities. For years she kept a daily journal of the day’s events and conversations. Her family will treasure the memories forever. She will be sadly missed by her family.

She is survived by her children, Paul and Leslee Miller, Dawn and Charlie Rudolph, Sue and Tim McGarry and Dan and Aleisha Miller; grandchildren, Mark and Brian Miller, Benjamin, Brandon and Sarah Rudolph, Kayla, Katie and Kelsey McGarry, Samantha and Nicole Miller; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Marvel Belke; her husband, Bill; an infant son, Dale Richard; a granddaughter, Kendra Dawn McGarry; and an infant brother, Daryl Paul.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2014, at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. The Rev. Dick Dickman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Warren Mills Cemetery, Warrens."
