5. William "Billy" SCHONE Jr. was born on 31 March 1895 in Frankfort, Spink County, SD.¹ He died before March 1993 at the age of 98.⁴

William "Billy" SCHONE Jr. and Lorene F. CLAY were married on 31 October 1936.¹ (She may have had a prior marriage to a Mr. Hawkins.) Lorene F. CLAY, daughter of John Robert CLAY and Juliana Mathilde SEVERLOH, was born on 30 June 1904 in Monroe County, WI.^4,5,6 (Her name was spelled "Lorene" in her mother's obituary, "Lorraine" in her sister's obituary, and "Lorene" in the Clay Family Bible.) She appeared in the census in 1910 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ She appeared in the census in 1920 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ Lorene died on 3 November 1981 at the age of 77 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^6,9

William "Billy" SCHONE Jr. and Lorene F. CLAY had the following children:

14	i.	Jerry L. SCHONE was born on 8 May 1937 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ He graduated in 1956 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ from Tomah High School. He died on 13 July 2002 at the age of 65 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ Jerry was buried on 16 July 2002 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ in the LaGrange Township Cemetery.
