Descendants of Friederich Schone

Friederich Schone (possibly originally spelled "Schoen") and his wife, Louisa DeWitz, were born in Prussia in the early-1800’s.

They emigrated to America in 1855 with their three children and initially settled in Dodge County.
Their children of their son William married into the Clay, Houn and Rehberg families.
All of the original Schone families in the Monroe County are believed to descend from Friederich and Louisa.
