21. Lovicy "Lovisa" SHUTTER was born on 1 September 1843 in Middleburgh Township, Schoharie County, NY.^2,12,14,16 (Her given name was listed as Lovicy on her gravestone.) She appeared in the census in 1850 in Broome Township, Schoharie County, NY.⁶ She appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ Lovisa died on 22 July 1915 at the age of 71 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,17

Obituary Notes: "Mrs. John Boynton, an old resident of the town of LaGrange, died (of face cancer) on Thrusday, July 22, aged 72 years. She was born in Middleburg, N.Y., September 1, 1843 and came west with her parents while she was a child. She lived in this vacinity until the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband, their three children having passed on before. Funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday afternoon by Rev. L. E. Hoisington and the burial was in the family burial ground on the farm." She was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ in the Boynton Family Cemetery.

Lovicy "Lovisa" SHUTTER and John A. BOYNTON were married before 1866.¹⁴ (They were 1st cousins.) John A. BOYNTON, son of Reuben D. BOYNTON and Jane SHUTTER, was born on 15 January 1843 in Pennsylvania.^11,14 He appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ He died on 10 April 1925 at the age of 82 in Benton County, MN.¹⁷ John was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ in the Boynton Family Cemetery.

38	i.	Ida BOYNTON was born on 19 May 1872 in Monroe County, WI.^10,14 (Calculated birth date; she was 15 years, 1 month and 18 days old at the time her death. The 1880 Census listed her age as 14 years old.) In the 1880 Census, she was listed as "Idiotic." She appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ She died on 6 July 1887 at the age of 15 in Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ Ida was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ in the Boynton Family Cemetery.
39	ii.	Mary BOYNTON died in 1879 in Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ She was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ in the Boynton Family Cemetery.
40	iii.	Harlie BOYNTON died on 18 August 1881.¹⁴ He was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ in the Boynton Family Cemetery.

Lovicy "Lovisa" SHUTTER and Bishop BUSHNELL were married on 1 December 1859 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ Bishop BUSHNELL was born on 13 April 1828 in Pownal, Bennington County, VT.¹⁴
