Descendants of Wilhelm "William" Shutter

Their son, Johannes Ulrich "John" Shutter and his wife Catherine Warner were the parents of Peter Bradt Shutter, who was born in Schorarie County, New York, in 1819. Peter married Lucy Boynton on 1840 and they and their seven children arrived in the Tomah area sometime before 1860. Their children married into families such as Manley, Boynton, Delaney, Keating, Gerlinger and Woodard.

All of the Shutter family members who settled in Monroe County descend from William and Margarita.
