14. Jane SHUTTER was born on 18 February 1820 in New York.^6,15,16 (She was listed as age 23 in the 1850 Census.) She appeared in the census in 1850 in Broome Township, Schoharie County, NY.⁶ She was living with her parents. She appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹ Jane died on 22 July 1899 at the age of 79 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.^1,16 She was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷

Jane SHUTTER and Reuben D. BOYNTON were married on 1 January 1840 in Schoharie, Schoharie County, NY.¹⁵ Reuben D. BOYNTON, son of Artemas A. BOYNTON and Lovina UNKNOWN (BOYNTON), was born on 2 May 1819 in New York.^15,16 He appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹ His occupation was "Farmer." He died on 11 August 1880 at the age of 61 in Monroe County, WI.^15,16 Reuben was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ in the Boynton Family Cemetery.
