Samuel SIZER Sr. and Sophia LEIGHTON were married about 1840.^3,5,6 Sophia LEIGHTON⁷ was born in 1819.^4,6 (Her surname may have been Layton.) She emigrated in 1851 from England, United Kingdom.^2,3 She died on 4 March 1886 at the age of 67 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,3,4 Sophia was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
