"Fred" STAHNKE was born on 28 August 1869 in Westpreussen (West Prussia) Province, Preussen (Prussia).6 He emigrated in 1882 from Preussen (Prussia).2 He appeared in the census in 1900 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.2 He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Farmer." (He was listed as Single, and his wife was not living with him.) Fred appeared in the census in 1905 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.4 He was the Head of Household and his occupation was "Farmer." He appeared in the census in 1910 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.5 His occupation was "Farmer, General Farm." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.7 His occupation was "None." Fred died in 1944 at the age of 75.1 He was buried in 1944 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.1 in the Pilgrims Home Cemetery.

She was confirmed on 30 March 1890 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.17 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She appeared in the census in 1900 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.2 She was living with her sister Anna and her family and her occupation was listed as "Housekeeper." She was listed as "Married," with no children. Her husband was not living with her.
