He appeared in the census in 1910 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.7 He was living with his mother's parents. He appeared in the census in 1920 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.9 He was living with his mother and his occupation was "Farm Laborer, Home Farm." Hickory appeared in the census in 1930 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.13 He was living with his mother and his occupation was "Farm Laborer, General Farm." He died on 27 June 1973 at the age of 72 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.29,33,35

Obituary Notes: "Edwin Stoltz, 72, died Wednesday (June 27, 1973) in the Tomah Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

He was an employee of the Milwaukee road until 1941, and then he worked as a mason until his retirement. He was a lifelong Tomah area resident.

Surviving are his wife, Helen; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard Gnewikow, Lois Ann, and Gloria Jean, all of Tomah; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one son-in-law, Leonard Gnewikow.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran church. Pastor O. W. Heier officiated. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery." He was buried on 1 July 1973 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.6,17,29,35 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

"Hickory" STOLTZ and Gertrude "Helen" ZELLMER were married.29,33 Gertrude "Helen" ZELLMER, daughter of Heinrich Emil ZELLMER and Anna FETKENHAUER, was born on 24 November 1910 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.28,29,32,33,35 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.9 She died on 25 May 1980 at the age of 69 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.29,33,35

Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Helen Stoltz, 69, of 321 LaCrosse St., Tomah, died Sun., May 25, in Tomah Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 24, 1910 in the Town of Adrian, Monroe County, to Henry and Anna (Fetkenfuer) Zellmer. She married Edwin Stoltz and they lived in the Tomah area all their lives.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Arlene) Gnewikow and Mrs. Robert (Gloria) Kane, both of Tomah; five grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Harry (Ruby) Isensee, Mrs. George (Irene) Schmieder and Mrs. Norman (Alpha Jean) Gaede, all of Tomah, Mrs. Vern (Dorothy) Hammon of Cataract, Mrs. Ray (Louise Ann) Lueke of Bloomer and Mrs. Ed (anita) Gruen of Wilton; and three brothers, Alfred and Milton, both of Tomah, and Raymond of Nekoosa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, a daughter, two sisters and two brothers.

Services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tomah, with Rev. O. W. Heier officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery."
