Obituary Notes: ""Mrs. Buschmann, wife of John Buschmann of this city, died at the Tomah hospital Sunday morning, March 12, after a brief illness from rheumatism which finally attacked the heart. Deceased was 28 years of age and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Storkel of this city. She leaves her husband with three small children. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon in the Lutheran church, the Rev. J. G. Glaeser officiating and the internment was in Oak Grove cemetery."

The Tomah Monitor Herald, March 19, 1915, Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Lena Buschman, wife of John Buschman, of this city, passed away on Sunday, March 14th, 1915. She was taken sick on March 2, and on March 10th was removed to the Tomah Hospital where she could receive treatment for her trouble, inflammatory rheumatism. The disease went to her heart and she died on Sunday, the 14th.

Mrs. Buschman was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Storkel and was born Nov. 10, 1886, and at the time of her death was 28 years, 4 months and 4 days old.

On Sept. 10, 1907, she was married to Mr. John Buschman, who, with three children, Helen, 6 years old, Ruth, 4 , and Russell, 10 Mos., her parents, three brothers, Herman, Louie, Otto, two sisters, Louise and Mrs. John Hyland, other relatives and a large circle of friends remain to mourn her loss.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Tuesday from the residence of her parents and at 2:30 from the church, Rev. J. G. Glaeser officiating. Internment was in Oak Grove cemetery.

Those who attended the funeral from away were Miss Lena Buschman, of Minneapolis, Mrs. Rheinhold and two daughters, of Tomahawk, Mr. Geo. Tralmer, of Camp Douglas, Will and Joe Buschman, of Tomahawk, Mrs. C. Mails and Miss Lillian Toeuse(Toense), of Grand Rapids, Mr. Nick Grevilding and E. G. Knauss, of Merrill, Mrs. E. Sullivan, of La Crosse." Lena was buried on 17 March 1915 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.2,3,19,20 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Lena E. A. STORKEL and John Victor BUSCHMAN were married on 10 September 1907 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.3,21,22 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. They had three children. John Victor BUSCHMAN was born on 5 April 1886 in Tunnel City, Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.13,20 He died on 24 January 1968 at the age of 81 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.13,20,23 He was buried on 27 January 1968 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.13,20,23 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
