married in the Holy Saviour Catholic Church in Ocean City. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Kenneth Behrens of Heart wood Drive. The
bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Velenovsky, Jr. of Perry Hall.

The Rev. Stephen Connell performed the ceremony Saturday at noon in a setting of mums. A reception was held at the American Legion.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of white silk maracaine jersey styled in the Empire manner. The mandarin collar was slashed open in the front with a wide band of crystal pleated chiffon and Venise lace with pearl accents. A band of Venise lace encircled the Empire waistline and the cuffs of the long tapered sleeves were lace trimmed and flounced with crystal pleating. The skirt flowed backward to form the attached chapel-length train. Her veil of illusion fell from a Venise lace Camelot accented with pearls. |

Miss Jacquelyn Lee Bradway of Ocean Citv was maid of honor. She wore an apricot gown of fluid interlock. Styled with classic simplicity, the halter bodice had a wedding ring collar, a cut-away back and slender skirt. The short chiffon jacket had tapered sleeves and wide lapels that flowed back to create a sheer face framing hood.

Mrs. Dennis L. Labe of Willards, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She was dressed identically to the maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Miss Richie Marie Lawrence of Salisbury, Miss Denise Tomlinson of Ocean City, and Mrs. William Lipphardt of Altamonte Springs, Florida, sister of the bride. Their gowns were like those of the honor attendants.

Robert Velenovsky of Perry Hall, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were William Mazejoko of Silver Springs, Ronald Kellner and Edward O'Malley of Ocean Springs, and Jerry Sheets of Perry Hall.

The bride is a graduate of Wicomico Senior High School and attended Towson State College. Mr. Velenovsky is a graduate of Essex (MD) Community College and attended the University of Baltimore.

After a trip to Paradise Island in the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Ocean City."

. Dale BEHRENS, daughter of J. Kenneth BEHRENS and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (BEHRENS), was born on 23 February 1955.
