He was christened in 1773.¹ He appeared in the census in 1790 in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, VT.³ His household consisted of 1 "free white male, 16 years and older," (Abraham);, 1 "free white male, under 16 years old," (Ezekial, 2); and 1 "free white female," (Thankful).

. Abraham appeared in the census in 1800 in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, VT.⁴ He was listed as "Abram." (The Census image is not available on Ancestry.com, so it is not know who was listed in his household.)

He appeared in the census in 1810 in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, VT.⁵ His household consisted of: 2 males, under age 10 (Enoch and Ira); 2 males, age 16-25 (Ezekiel and Levi); 1 male, 26-44 (Abraham); 2 females, age 10-15 (Hannah and Sally); 1 female, age 16-25 (Dolly); and 1 female, age 45 and over (Thankful).

He appeared in the census in 1820 in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, VT.⁶ His household consisted of 1 male, age 10-15 (possibly Ira, 17); 1 male, age 16-18 (Enoch, 18); 1 male, age 45 and older (Abraham, 51); 1 female, under age 10 (Unknown); 2 females, age 16-26 (probably Sally, 21, and Hannah, 23); 1 female, age 26-44 (possibly Dolly, 28); and 1 female, age 45 and over (Thankful).

The households of Nathan Brand and David Brand were in the same neighborhood. They may have been related to Thankful.

Abraham died on 23 April 1853 at the age of 84 in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, VT.¹ He was buried in Huntington, Chittenden County, VT.¹⁰ in the Hanksville Cemetery, between Hinesburg and Huntington Town.

Abraham SWEET and Thankful BRAND were married on 26 November 1787 in West Greenwich Township, Kent County, Rhode Island Colony, British Colonial America.¹ Thankful BRAND, daughter of Robert BRAND and Prudence COTTRELL, was born about 1754 in Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island Colony, British Colonial America.¹ She appeared in the census in 1790 in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, VT.³ She appeared in the census in 1810 in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, VT.⁵ Thankful appeared in the census in 1840 in Starksboro, Addison County, VT.⁸ She died in 1845 at the age of 91 in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, VT.¹¹ She was buried in 1845 in Huntington, Chittenden County, VT.¹⁰ in the Hanksville Cemetery, between Hinesburg and Huntington Town, VT.
