321. David Dean "Dave" VANDERVORT was born on 15 November 1958 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.281 He died on 12 June 2013 at the age of 54 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.281

Obituary Notes: "David Dean Vandervort, 54, of Tomah, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the Gundersen Medical Center, La Crosse. He was born Nov. 15, 1958, to Verlyn and Vernageane “Vernie” (Winchel) Vandervort, in Tomah.

Dave was a 1976 graduate of Tomah High School. He remained close with his fellow classmates throughout his life. Following high school, he attended WWTC in La Crosse for auto body. As a young man he was active in rodeo and helped his parents with Clydesdales and other horses. He also enjoyed four wheel truck climbing and mudding with his high school friends. Dave was employed at Toro for 30 years.

David was united in marriage to Cindy Rosenow on July 29, 1995. I n his spare time he enjoyed hunting, camping, four wheeling, cutting wood, fishing, golfing, plowing snow and farming. He liked to travel and enjoyed his trips to Canada, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and San Francisco. Dave was an AC/DC fan. He loved playing euchre with his family and card club. Dave was fun loving, charismatic and was known to do fun things with his kids and grandchildren. More than anything, he loved his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Vernie Vandervort of Tomah; his wife, Cindy of Tomah; his children, Tiffany (Eric) Hall of Tomah, Trent (Ashley) Vandervort of Tomah,  Jamie (Ryan) Olson of Camp Douglas, Rhonda (Viet) Van Dong of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and Mandy (Brad) Musta of Montrose, Minn/; grandchildren, Mallory, Karli and Klara; his brother, Dale (Missy) Vandervort of Tomah; and his sister, Dilynn (Gary) Middleton of Tomah; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Verlyn Vandervort.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Monsignor Richard Gilles will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Tomah. Family and friends are invited for visitation  from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Family and friends are also invited for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home."

David Dean "Dave" VANDERVORT and Cindy ROSENOW were married on 29 July 1995.281 Cindy ROSENOW, daughter of Leroy E. ROSENOW and Genevieve Josephine VON HADEN, was born (date unknown).
