Oliver Taylor was probably born at Fort Mass; he was in Northfield, MA in 1771 and settled at Hartland, VT around 1788. He was a farmer and had a saw mill on the Queche River. He was killed by a log that fell on him in 1797. He was buried in Hartland, Windsor County, VT.¹³
