Descendants of John Taylor I

John Taylor I and his wife, Margaret de Fairsted, were born in England in the mid-1400's. One of their descendants, Moses Taylor and his wives, Permelia Pettingill and Azubah Pratt, were born in New York State in the 1780's.

Moses and Permelia had nine children before she died in 1834, including Samuel Pettingill Taylor who was born in 1814.

Moses and Azubah's daughter, also named Azubah, married Salem T. Evans in 1867 in Tomah.

Several of Moses' descendants are buried in the Oakdale Township Cemetery in Monroe County, WI.
