18. Gerhard F. "Gary" KRAUSE was born in 1905.6 He died in 1966 at the age of 61.6,7 He was buried in 1966 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.6 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Gerhard F. "Gary" KRAUSE and Norma Lorette ROGGE were married on 15 June 1932 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.7,15 Norma Lorette ROGGE, daughter of Wilhelm F. ROGGE and Henrietta C. GIESLER, was born on 6 July 1910 in Bear Creek, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.7,15,23 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.24 She graduated in 1927 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.23 from Tomah High School. Norma appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.25 She was living with her father and her occupation was "Clerk, Grocery Store." She died on 24 June 2005 at the age of 94 in Minot, Ward County, ND.15

Obituary Notes: "Norma Lorette Krause, 94, Minot, ND, formerly of Tomah, WI, died Friday, June 24, 2005, in a Minot hospital, surrounded by her family. Norma was born July 6, 1910, in Oakdale, WI, the daughter of William and Henrietta (Giesler) Rogge. She was raised and educated in Tomah and graduated from Tomah High School in 1928. Following graduation, Norma worked for Giesler's IGA.

On June 15, 1932, Norma was united in marriage to Gerhard "Gary" Krause in Tomah. They made their home in Tomah, where Norma and her husband Gary were owners of Krause Distributing Company and Krause Motors.

Gary died in 1966. Following her husband's death, she worked at the V.A. Hospital, Job Corps, Kennedy Auto Supply, and retired from the State of Wisconsin Health and Social Services as a secretary in 1975. Norma moved to Minot, ND, in 1992 to be with her daughter Loa and family. She had 12 wonderful years there.

Norma was an excellent artist. Many will remember her beautiful china painting and ceramics. She also enjoyed quilting, playing cards, bingo, puzzles and reading. Her biggest joy in life was her family. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the RSK Homemakers and St. Paul's Lutheran Church Mission Circle, all in Tomah. During World War II, she was a Gray Lady and volunteered at the hospital.

Those who shared in her life, daughter Loa (Dick) Wilson, Minot; two grandchildren, Debra (Spencer) Hoover, Minot, ND, and Steven (Karla) Wilson, Fargo, ND; two great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Mark Wilson; sister-in-law, Violet Rogge, Tomah; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Norma was preceded in death by: her husband, Gerhard "Gary" Krause; her parents, William and Henrietta Rogge; sisters, Agnes Pauquette and Glacia Kautz; brothers, Henry Rogge and Forrest Rogge.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 1, at 1 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Tomah, Wisconsin. Pastor Donald R. Buch will officaite. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. Relatives and friends are invited to call today (Thursday), June 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND, and Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, Tomah, are assisting family with arrangements."
She was buried on 1 July 2005 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.15 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
