Thurow 90, of Wilton, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center, Sparta. She was born Aug. 16, 1914, to Louis and Birdie (Wallace) Daines in the Township of Wellington, Monroe County, WI. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith in April of 1938 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilton. She was united in marriage to Ellsworth A. Thurow on March 17, 1937. He preceded her in death Nov. 9, 1968. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ellsworth; a son, Kenneth; a granddaughter, Jolee; a sister, Violet Downing; and infant brother; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Denter and Hertha Doms; five brothers-in-law, Cecil Doms, Ed Berg, Corwin Denter, Richard Downing and Joe Barat. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wilton. Pastor Ryan Fletcher will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of the service. The Smith-Nelson Funeral Home, Wilton, is assisting the family with the arrangements."
