Johann David "John" THUROW was born on 15 November 1812 in Preussen (Prussia).^1,2 He appeared in the census in 1880 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.² He and his wife were living next to the household of their son Fred and his family. His occupation was "Work on Farm." He died on 3 August 1895 at the age of 82.¹
