He and his wife were listed in the church Communion Records in the early-1890's. (The 1900 Census indicated that they had 1 child; that was an error.) Wilhelmine "Minnie" DOEDE was born on 5 October 1823 in Bromberg District, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).^{1,3,5,6,7,8,9} (Her surname may have been spelled "Doedew" or "Doeden," but it is listed as "Doedin" in the church record of her death.) She emigrated in 1862 from Germany.^7,9 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ Minnie appeared in the census in 1880 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.² She appeared in the census in 1900 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ She was living with her son Julius and his family. She was Lutheran in 1900 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ and was listed on the Memberbership Roster of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Minnie appeared in the census in 1910 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ She died on 7 March 1915 at the age of 91.^3,8 She was buried on 10 March 1915 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^3,8 in the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
