Descendants of Ludwig Christoph "Louis" Utke

Ludwig Christoph "Louis" Utke and his wife, Wilhelmine Doede, were born in Prussia in the early-1800’s. They emigrated to America in the early-1860’s and settled in Adrian Township.

Their three children married into the Kuhl, Nuenfeld and Matthews families.

All of the original Utke families in Monroe County descend from Louis and Minnie..
