George VICKERY was born about 1615 in Of Weymouth, Dorset County, England.1,2 He died in 1679 at the age of 64 in Hull, Plymouth County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.1,2 He was a Seaman in Marblehead, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. George Vickery came from a family of seafaring people from the Island of Jersey or from Bideford in Devonshire, England. He came to Marblehead, then a part of Salem, with others from Jersey, but settled later with men from Devonshire in Hull, MA. He came to America about 1635 and settled in Hull by 1650.
