George VICKERY was born about 1615 in Of Weymouth, Dorset County, England.^1,2 He died in 1679 at the age of 64 in Hull, Plymouth County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.^1,2 He was a Seaman in Marblehead, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. George Vickery came from a family of seafaring people from the Island of Jersey or from Bideford in Devonshire, England. He came to Marblehead, then a part of Salem, with others from Jersey, but settled later with men from Devonshire in Hull, MA. He came to America about 1635 and settled in Hull by 1650.
