Reverend Jonathon VICKERY Sr. was born in 1648 in Hull, Plymouth County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.1,2,3 He died on 30 April 1702 at the age of 54 in Pleasant Bay, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.1,3 He was a Preacher in Hull, Plymouth County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. Johnathon was "a gifted preacher" and "a man of unusual mind and spirit". He had property in Hull and Scituate, MA. He sold his home in Hull and was called to be minister to First Church in Monomoy (Chatham). He was also a fisherman and farmer, besides a minister.

Reverend Jonathon VICKERY Sr. and Elizabeth HUDSON were married in 1681.1,2 Elizabeth HUDSON, daughter of John HUDSON and Ann ROGERS, was born in 1659.3 She died in 1706 at the age of 47.3 She died after a lingering illness. Their farm was bought by the church as a parsonage in 1708.
