234. Bernice Estella HART (^) was born on 22 October 1922 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^44,91 She appeared in the census in 1930 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸⁶ She died on 28 November 2004 at the age of 82 in Chippewa Falls, Chippewa County, WI.⁴⁴

Obituary Notes: "Bernice E. Harmon, 82, of Chippewa Falls, WI, and formerly of Sparta, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at the Chippewa Manor, Chippewa Falls. She was born on Oct. 22, 1922, in Warrens, to Riley and Eva (Vroman) Hart. Bernice married Harold Harmon in Sparta on May 13, 1951 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Bernice worked for the Monroe County Hospital, Main Cafe and Sparta Dairy Queen.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Burdette) Robinson of Chippewa Falls and Mary (Tom) Brehm of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Stacy, Scott, Terry Robinson, David (Beth), and James Brehm; four great-grandchildren, Garrett, Mackenzie, Braedon and Reegan; two brothers and 10 sisters, Ronald (Judy) Hart of Machesney Park, IL, Kenny (Ethal) Hart of Tomah, Arja Welch, Bonnie Schubert and Patty Arnot of Milwaukee, Donna Cotman of Germantown, Arlieta Finegan of River Grove, IL, Beverly Wood, Rita (Rubert) Zahrte of Rockford, IL, Verna Burrows of Onalaska, Betty (David) Muehlenkamp of Oakdale and June Volezke of Prairie du Chien; and numerous nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 1983; her grandson, Burdette Robinson Jr., in 1984; her parents; two sisters, Anna Hart and Carol Reed; and a brother, David Hart.

Funeral services were Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta, with Rev. David Carlson officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sparta. Friends called at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until the time of services. The Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta, assisted the family with funeral arrangements." Bernice was buried on 1 December 2004 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁴ in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Bernice Estella HART (^) and Harold HARMON were married on 13 May 1951 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.^44,65 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Harold HARMON died in 1983.⁴⁸
