Betty Lou HART (^) and David Charles MUEHLENKAMP were married on 12 November 1957 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.150,151 David Charles MUEHLENKAMP, son of Carl MUEHLENKAMP and Genevieve BERENDES, was born on 31 July 1933 in Camp Douglas, Cutler Township, Juneau County, WI.91,151 He died on 21 March 2021 at the age of 87 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.151

Obituary Notes: "David Charles Muehlenkamp, age 87, of Oakdale, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Tomah Health. He was born July 31, 1933, to Carl and Genevieve (Berendes) Muehlenkamp at the home farm in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. David was a 1952 graduate of Tomah High School. Following high school, he served in the United States Army.

David was united in marriage to Betty Lou Hart on November 12, 1957 in Sparta, Wisconsin. Together they proudly raised five children, Robert, Kevin, Michael, Ronald and Renee in the Oakdale area. David spent his career as a truck driver for Union Camp proudly driving over one million miles before retiring in 1996. In his younger years, David taught mountain climbing in Colorado at Pikes Peak. In his spare time, he enjoyed deer hunting, cutting wood, and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife, Betty, his children, Robert (Melodee) Muehlenkamp of Rosemount, MN, Kevin (Lisa) Muehlenkamp of Dubuque, IA, Mike (Emily) Muehlenkamp of Woodstock, IL, Ron (Angie) Muehlenkamp of Farmington, MN and Renee (Paul) Nelson of Northfield, MN, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, siblings, John (Jean) Muehlenkamp of Camp Douglas, WI, Charlie (Sue) Muehlenkamp of Pahrump, NV, Charlotte Muha of Greenfield, WI, Linda (Ron) Schultz of LaHabra, CA and Eunice Daily of Hartford, WI, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Genevieve, brothers, Paul and Bill Muehlenkamp, a sister and brother-in-law, Darlene (Korwin) Quist.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday. March 27, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Indian Creek. Father Robert Letona will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church."
