Descendants of Wilhelm "William" Michael Waegner

Wilhelm "William" Michael Waegner and his wife, Sarah Huth, were born in Bavaria in 1827 and emigrated to America in 1865.

They were among the first Waegner/Wegner/Wagner families to live in Monroe County, but are not believed to have had any sons to carry on the family name. At least four of their eight children were girls, but the identities of the other four are not known.
He was the organizer of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ridgeville.
