Descendants of Alexander Webb, Jr.

Alexander Webb was born in 1540 in England. He was the 5th great-grandfather of Lebbeous Webb, who is the earliest known ancestor of the Webb family members that eventually settled in Monroe County. His great-grandson, Clarence, married Ella J. Doten in 1881 and their children married into families such as Wadephul, Thayer, Hewitt and Bortles.

All of the original Webb families in Monroe County descended from Lebbeous.
