19. Frank Fidel BENING was born on 12 October 1878 in Wisconsin.^7,33,43 (In the 1900 Census, his birth date was listed as Oct 1879 and his age as 20.) He appeared in the census in 1880 in Gardner Township, Door County, WI.³⁵ He appeared in the census in 1900 in Green Bay, Brown County, WI.³³ He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Farm Laborer." Frank appeared in the census in 1910 in Troy, Lincoln County, MT.⁵⁴ His occupation was "Forester, National Forest." He appeared in the census in 1920 in Enaville, Shoshone County, ID.⁵⁵ His occupation was listed as "Logging Contractor." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Wallace, Shoshone County, ID.⁵⁶ His surname was listed as "Benning" and his occupation was "Lumber (?) Man, Lead Mine." His household consisted of Frank, his wife, their sons Fred and James, four "Lodgers" who worked with him in the lead mine, and his "Brother" Earl. Frank lived at his home in Grangemont, Clearwater County, ID in March 1940.⁴⁴ He died on 3 March 1951 at the age of 72 in Spokane, Spokane County, WA.⁴³ He was buried on 6 March 1951 in Spokane, Spokane County, WA.⁴³ in the Riverside Cemetery.

Frank Fidel BENING and Myrtle Naomi JOHNSON were married on 12 October 1909 in Troy, Lincoln County, MT.^36,43,54 Myrtle Naomi JOHNSON was born on 5 January 1888 in Washington.^43,54,57 (According to the Judy McLean research, she was born in Farmington, Whitman County, Wyoming Territory. The 1910 and 1920 Census' listed her birthplace as Washington, and the 1930 as Missouri. According to the 1910 Census, her father was born in England and her mother in Washington.) She appeared in the census in 1910 in Troy, Lincoln County, MT.⁵⁴ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Enaville, Shoshone County, ID.⁵⁵ Myrtle appeared in the census in 1930 in Wallace, Shoshone County, ID.⁵⁶ She died on 23 October 1979 at the age of 91 in Kellogg, Shoshone County, ID.⁴³
