He came with his parents to Richford, Wis., in 1864, and in 1871 he came to this vicinity. In 1877 he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Root. To this union two sons were born: Charley C. of Wyeville, Wis., and George E. at home. He leaves to mourn the loss his wife, two sons, five grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Alvira Root near Valley Junction, and Mrs. Ruth Toothman of Tomah, besides other relatives and friends who will miss a kind friend and neighbor. A precious one from us has gone, Addison Joseph WOOD and Anna Sofia "Annie" ROOT (/) were married on 18 March 1877.3 Anna Sofia "Annie" ROOT (/)10, daughter of Orrin A. ROOT and Sarah A. TITUS, was born on 11 December 1860 in Richford, Waushara County, WI.2,3,9,10 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Richford Township, Waushara County, WI.6 She appeared in the census in 1880 in Byron Township, Monroe County, WI.2 Annie died on 26 December 1944 at the age of 84 in Byron Township, Monroe County, WI.3 She was buried in Wyeville, Byron Township, Monroe County, WI.16 in the Wood Cemetery.
