Obituary Notes: "Lola A. (Root) Ackerman, 83, born May 7, 1924, to Erwin and Alta (Rose) Root in Monroe County, WI, passed away Sept. 28, 2007, at the Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Moses Lake, WA.

She was married to Harvey Ackerman July 3, 1953, in Belvidere, IL, and moved to Washington soon after and spent the rest of her life there.

She is survived by children Sheri Miner, Moses Lake; Stacey (Butch) Brittain, Kenniwick, WA; Corey Ackerman, LeGrande, OR; grandchildren Tara, Satin and Brandon Miner of Moses Lake, Lisa Brittain of Spokane, Jeffrey and Josh (Angel) Brittain of Kenniwick; and Lindsey and Loren Ackerman of LeGrande; and great-granddaughter Maddie of Moses Lake; a sister, Alvira (Chet) Chambers of Tomah and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Kim; her parents and two brothers, Louis and Jesse (Lucille) Root.

Services were held graveside on Oct. 2, 2007, in Moses Lake, WA."
