Descendants of Jakub Wurster

Jakob Wurster and his wife, Catharine, were born in the early-1800’s in the Posen Province of Prussia.

Their son Christian “Chris” Wurster married Auguste Zirke in 1872 in Monroe County and they settled in Wilton Township. Their twelve children married into families such as Ferries, Holch, Raynor, Redlein, Steingraber and Brey.

All of the original Wurster families in Monroe County descend from Jakob and Catharine.
