5. Christoph Andreas ZELLMER Sr. was born on 14 February 1757 in Jankendorf, Kreis Kolmar, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).^1,2,5 (It is not certain that this child and his siblings were directly related because the original church records of the Zellmer families were destroyed in a fire.)

(He may have been the son of Michael Zellmer (b. 1733), the brother of Christoph's "unknown" father. Christoph may have been a son of Michael's from a a second marriage. Christoph's marriage record of 1784 has "Michael" Zellmer entered as the name of the groom, and then it was crossed out with "Christoph" written above "Michael." It is possible that the pastor who entered the record may have associated Christoph with "Michael," his father. It is not possible to verify this because the church records prior to 1781 were destroyed in a fire.) He died on 14 July 1839 at the age of 82 in Jankendorf, Kreis Kolmar, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).^1,5

Christoph Andreas ZELLMER Sr. and Anna Christina GEHRKE were married on 11 March 1784 in Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).¹ Anna Christina GEHRKE, daughter of Martin GEHRKE and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (GEHRKE), was born in 1759.^1,5 She died on 5 September 1831 at the age of 72 in Jankendorf, Kreis Kolmar, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).^1,5
