Descendants of Johann George "John" Ziegler, Sr.

Johann George "John" Ziegler, Sr. and his wife, Anna Mary Schraud, were born in the late-1700's in Bavaria. They remained in Prussia, but their five children emigrated to America and settled in Monroe County.

They are the earliest known ancestors of many of the Ziegler family members that lived in the Tomah area.
