Chester Archie "Chet" VROMAN (^) was born on 14 November 1908 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.^{16,49,139,300,434,587} He appeared in the census in 1910 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.¹³⁹ He appeared in the census in 1920 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴⁰ Chet graduated in 1927 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁸⁸ from Tomah High School. He appeared in the census in 1930 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵⁹ He was also listed in the1930 Census in Tomah Township as a boarder at the farm of Fred and Bertha Noth. Between 1941 and 1984 he was a rural mail carrier. in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁹ Chet died on 10 September 1988 at the age of 79 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^49,434 Obituary Notes: "Chester A. Vroman, 79, of Rt. 1, Warrens, died on Saturday, Sept. 10, 1988 at his home. He was born November 14, 1908 in the Town of Grant in Monroe County to William and Estelle (Lamb) Vroman.

On May 17, 1932, he married Lois Birkholz in Batavia, Illinois. They lived and farmed in the Town of Lincoln all of their lives. Vroman retired from farming in 1922. In 1984, he retired as a substitute rural mail carrier after 43 years of service in the Town of Lincoln.

Survivors are his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Sally) Moe of Portage, Mrs. Floyd (Mary) Kowal of Janesville, and Mrs. Donald (Carol) Romanoski of Burnsville, Minn.; and a sister Veora Heser of Grayslake, Minn. Survivors also include eight grandchildren, Sara Moe, Marie Moe, Paula Winke, Tamra Potter, Stephen Potter, David Potter, Suzanne Romanoski, and Todd Romanoski. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Winke.

Funeral services were held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 1988 in St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kirby. The Rev. Henry Klug officiated and burial was in the Warren-Mill Cemetery at Warrens." He was buried in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶⁰ in the Warrens Cemetery.

Chester Archie "Chet" VROMAN (^) and Lois Pauline BIRKHOLZ were married on 17 May 1932 in Batavia, Kane County, IL.^16,49,76,589 Lois Pauline BIRKHOLZ, daughter of August Friederick BIRKHOLZ and Pauline Ida HEELER, was born on 19 January 1911 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^49,300,434 She died on 19 October 1994 at the age of 83 in Janesville, Rock County, WI.^49,434 She was buried on 22 October 1994 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^49,172 in the Warren-Mills Cemetery.
