Obituary Notes: "Frank Eugene Vandervort was born in the Town of LaGrange September 6, 1887, and passed away April 28, 1957, at the age of 89.

He was married to Lettie Woodard December 25, 1888. Mrs. Vandervort passed away May 4, 1940. Mr. Vandervort was married to Melissa Murdock June 21, 1943.

He leaves his widow, Melissa, three children, Mrs. William Heinze of Portage, and Leon and Frank of Tomah; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and nine step-children; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Deda Morse; one brother-in-law, William Woodard; and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Tomah Methodist church on Wednesday, May 1, at 2 p.m., the Rev. A. E. Frederick of Sparta officiating. Interment was in La Grange Cemetery." He was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.^49,73,74,117 in the LaGrange Township Cemetery
