Oscar appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁰ His wife's name was listed ad "Delilah," age 31, born in Canada. His occupation was listed as "farmer." He appeared in the census in 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁴ His household consisted of Lucinda, age 35, "keeping house;" Mary, age 18, "domestic servant;" Farmer, age 16; and Levi, age 13. He appeared in the census in 1875 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁶ Oscar appeared in the census in 1880 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.²² His household consisted only of Oscar and his wife Lucinda. Oscar W. BIGELOW and Esther Delilah WILLITT were married in May 1847.^4,20,35,37 The Monroe County Marriage Index lists his wife's name as "Lucinda Gleason." (No date is listed for their marriage.) No given names are listed in the 1855 Census, but the 1860 Census lists his wife's name as "Delilah" age 31, born in Canada. The 1880 Census lists his wife's name as "Lucinda" age 45, born in MA. He was probably married twice. Esther Delilah WILLITT was born on 28 February 1828 in Canada.^{4,11,12,17,20} (She may have been born in New York state.) (Her surname is listed as "Quillets" in The Bigelow Society source.) She appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁰ She died on 21 March 1864 at the age of 36 in Monroe County, WI.^11,12,17,24 (She is not listed with the family in the 1870 Census.) Esther was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
