Johannes "John" BAUMBACH Sr. and Martha Elizabeth BRANDAU were married in 1919.^22,28 (He was listed in the Jan 1920 Census with his first wife, Mary, so the date of his second marriage must be in error.) He and his second wife were married for less than 8 months when he died. Martha Elizabeth BRANDAU, daughter of Heinrich Adam BRANDAU and Katharina Dorothea EHMER, was born on 23 February 1880 in Weissenhasel, Kreis Rotenburg, Hessen (Hesse) Province, Preussen (Prussia).^28,29 She emigrated in March 1895 from Weissenhasel, Kreis Rotenburg, Hessen (Hesse) Province, Preussen (Prussia). She died on 5 January 1962 at the age of 81.²⁸
