Descendants of (Unknown) Baumbach
(Unknown) Baumbach was born in the Sachsen (Saxony) province of Preussen (Prussia). He and his wife, also unknown, were the parents of Guido, Heinrich and Valentine Baumbach.
Guido and Heinrich emigrated to America in 1844, living first in Pennsylvania before moving to Wisconsin. Valentine followed a few years later, but it is not known if their parents ever emigrated.
All of the known Baumbach family members in Monroe County, WI, descend from Heinrich “Henry” Baumbach and his wife, Martha Katharine Katzmann.
Guido and his wife, Dorothea Katzmann, had three sons and three daughters, and they remained in Pennsylvania.
